Kangaroo Class

Welcome to Kangaroo Class. We are a class of 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls all in Year 2 and Year 3. We enjoy playing and exploring inside and outside in all weather.

Kangaroo Class enjoy sensory exploration and lots of songs! We enjoy playing and working with our familiar adults. We can work one to one and are also developing our sharing skills and independence in bay work.  

We work hard in Kangaroo class on our transitions and communication which is woven into all our activities throughout the day. We use symbols and pictures to help us with our communication and to increase our independence.

We love making good use of all the fantastic facilities here at school enjoying swimming, soft play, our light room and sessions on the trampoline. We are working hard at using our schedules to transition to different areas around the school with increasing independence.
