Learning Support Assistant

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable people with a passion for supporting children and young people with severe and complex special educational needs in the classroom. 

Our roles are full time, Monday - Friday (08.50-15.25),  term time only.

Personal attributes

You need to be energetic, resilient, have a good sense of humour and able to work as part of a team. Successful candidates will join our wonderful class teams in really making a difference by helping our pupils to learn and grow in small steps every day.

Experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities is desirable, but not essential.  However, enthusiasm, resilience and willingness to learn are key attributes for all staff.

Salary & benefits

30 hours per week (8.50-3.25)
Monday – Friday term time only.
£24,796-£25,128 full time equivalent
Actual salary for 30 hours, term time only - £17,638-£17,874
