Rhino Class

Rhino Class consists of ten pupils, 7 boys and 3 girls who are in Years 4/5. Our learning of Maths and Literacy are for a whole morning on alternative days.  We do this through a classroom carousel incorporating a variety of activities linked to our topic, individual targets and /or key skills.  Within the carousel each pupil works 1:1 with staff, in small groups and independently.

We are enjoying learning to play playground games with our class and other children in the playground, developing our social skills and turn-taking skills. We have played baseball, football and are looking forward to having a go at tennis, noughts and crosses and lots of other games.

We really enjoy engaging in topic-based activities which help develop our knowledge on the current topic we are learning.

This term, we are attending Romsey Rapids for weekly swimming lessons to improve our confidence in the water as well as our swimming skills.
