Sycamore Class
Sycamore Class is based at the secondary site in a modular building shared with Oak Class. There are six pupils in our class ranging from Year 8 to Year 12. We are a lively, busy and fun Class who love to be out and about.
We love to be active and spend as much time as possible learning outside; this also helps to ensure that we are well regulated and ready to learn. We particularly enjoy being outside looking after the sensory garden and spending time with our friends practising our physical skills, communication and social skills. The swings and trampoline are very popular with the boys and we continue to work on taking turns and listening to instructions.
We are getting really good at following our schedules and knowing where we are meant to be throughout the day, both in class and around the school site. We are really enjoying being out and about in the local community and are looking forward to more trips as the year progresses.
Sycamore Class are looking forward to some more blocks of weekly swimming sessions at Romsey Rapids. This has proven to be a real success for all of us and we are looking forward to developing our confidence in the water, alongside some new swimming skills.
