Minibus Driver - 10 hours per week (14.45-16.45); term time only
Overview
Are you a qualified driver (with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a clean driving licence) with a few hours to spare at the end of each day? If so, maybe you could be our next minibus driver! We are looking for a positive, flexible and cheerful soul who is happy to drive a small group of children with special needs home after school each day. The children are supported in the bus by a passenger assistant who knows them well, but we need a new driver for them.
The candidate will also need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work, as we are a split-site school.
Personal attributes
No experience of driving a minibus is necessary, but the successful candidate must be willing to complete the MIDAS minibus driver training, which will include using a tail lift and the clamping of wheelchairs into the bus.
