Senior Site Manager

Overview

We are seeking to appoint a skilled Senior Site Manager who is positive, practical, reliable and flexible, to join our happy and successful school as soon as possible.  This is a full time role, 52 weeks per year, working an early / late shift pattern including every other Saturday morning.

The candidate will also need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work, as we are a split-site school.

We are looking for someone who is resilient, friendly and approachable, with a good sense of humour who wants to make a difference to our school – a team player, who is able to build positive relationships with a range of staff and adults as well as the children.
The Senior Site Manager role is critical in ensuring our site remains safe, well-maintained, and is continually improving to meet the needs of pupils, staff, and the wider community.
You will have a crucial role in leading and managing all health and safety processes, risk assessments, training and compliance checks throughout the school.  Alongside the Site Assistant you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational running and upkeep of both sites, including unlocking and locking buildings, and being a key holder with site security outside of normal hours.

Salary & benefits

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (there is an expectation to work during school holidays, including the summer holidays)
Shift pattern: one week early shift (06.30-14.30) / one week late shift (10.30-18.30) plus alternate Saturday mornings (08.00-13.00)
Grade E £33,178 – 36,369 - Depending on experience (Hourly rate: £17.20-£18.85)
